Martina’s Aguachile Ceviche

2 medium bowl

 

 

Ingredients

1 lbs uncooked shrimp, cleaned and diced into small pieces

3/4 cup lime juice, about 6-8 large limes

2 tomatoes, diced

1/2 red onion, diced

2 serrano pepper, seeded and diced

1 cucumber, diced

3 tbsp cilantro, chopped

1/2 tsp Martina’s Chili Salt

2 tsp Martina’s Aguachile

Garnish with fresh grapefruit segments, radishes and kumquats

 

 

Procedure 

Step 1: In a bowl combine lime juice and shrimp. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 1/2 hours or until shrimp is opaque and pink.

Step 2: While shrimp is marinating, dice tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, cilantro, serrano and cilantro and add to another bowl and refrigerate until shrimp has cooked.

Step 3: One shrimp has cooked, add vegetable mixture into the shrimp bowl and toss. Add Martina’s Aguachile and Chili Salt. 

 

*Chefs tip – Serve on a tostada or with chips. Leave Martina’s Hot Sauce on the table for guest to enjoy more!
