Spicy Guava Margarita

Equipment Needed

4 cups guava juice

4 oz tequila 

2 limes. cut into wedges

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 water

2 tbsp Martina’s Original Hot Sauce 

1 jalapeno, sliced in half (optional)

flaked salt for glass rim 

Martina’s Chili Powder (optional for glass rim)





Step 1: In a small pot combine water, sugar, jalapeno and Martina’s Hot sauce. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, set aside and let cool. Before using, strain out jalapenos. This can be made in advance and held for a while in the fridge.

Step 2: Have your margarita glasses ready with the rim lined in salt (and Martina’s Chili Powder!) In a pitcher combine guava juice, tequila, and 6 oz of spicy syrup and juice of a few lime wedges. Stir to combine and pour into Margarita glasses filled with ice, garnish with a lime wedge & enjoy!
