medium bowl
Ingredients
1/2 onion, diced or sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp thyme
11 oz spinach
9 oz mozzarella, shredded
1 cup parmesan, shredded
1/4 cup sour cream
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 bottle Martina’s Original Hot Sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium to large saute pan begin cooking the onions using 1 tbsp of cooking oil on medium heat. Cook onions for about 7-10 minutes or until brown and caramelized. Add in garlic and thyme, cook for 1 minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper and set aside to cool.
Step 2: Once the spinach has cooled off, using a medium bowl combined cheeses, sour cream, Martina’s Hot Sauce and spinach mix. Combine until harmonious.
Step 3: In a baking dish or oven safe container add the mixture and top with some extra parmesan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. Feel free to broil for a few minutes to caramelize for some nice color. Serve and enjoy with raw veggies, bread or crackers!
