Spicy Cauliflower “Wings”
medium sauté pan
air fryer (optional)
3 medium bowls
1 head cauliflower, in florets
1 1/2 cups panko
1 pacifico beer
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp Martina’s Chili Powder
2 tsp Martina’s Original Hot Sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Step 1: In a bowl combine the flour, Martina’s chili powder, Martina’s Hot Sauce, pacifico beer, sate and pepper. In a separate bowl add only the breadcrumbs. Soak the florets in the flour mixture and then gently toss in the breadcrumbs. Finish all of them and then set aside.
Step 2: Get your cooking method ready. In an air fryer it will be about 7-10 minutes on 350 degrees for medium sized florets. In a fryer it should be about 5-6 minutes at 350 degrees. In an oven it will be 385 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. Serve with some fresh squeezed citrus and more Martina’s Hot Sauce and Chili Powder!
*Chefs tip – Make a sauce using equal parts Martina’s Hot Sauce and butter. Melt and simmer butter and hot sauce in a pan and toss the fried cauliflower in the sauce before serving or set aside as an option for guest.
